Blue Shield of California, Sutter Health reach accord

 

Following a bitter dispute over stalled negotiations, Blue Shield of California said it will extend its contract with Sutter Health through Dec. 31, 2016, reports Times-Standard Lifestyle

The announcement came after the not-for-profit Sutter Health on Tuesday proposed extending the current transition period with Blue Shield of California through the end of this year, locking in 2014 contract rates and terms, according to the story.
