CHE Trinity Health changes name to Trinity Health

 

Catholic Health East and Trinity Health, which merged last year to form a giant U.S. health system that reported $13.6 billion in revenues in June, announced that it will call itself Trinity Health, reports Modern Healthcare.

The working name of the two entities previously was CHE Trinity Health.

"In addition to the Holy Trinity being a core belief of the Catholic Church, Trinity in our name reflects our commitment to the ministry of healing body, mind and spirit," Sister Mary Persico, Trinity Health's executive vice president of Mission Integration, said in a release.
