Website platform seeks to answer all questions health IT-related
Got a burning health IT question? A newly launched website—breadcrumbsqa.com—is looking to become both the go-to resource for EHR users needing help with their systems, and as a place for health IT gurus to demonstrate their expertise by supplying the best answers.
The company, Breadcrumbs, was founded by “a team of ex-Epic implementers and developers who saw this as a clear way to improve the EHR world,” according to its short introductory video. It describes itself as a network of health IT analysts, consultants, trainers, executives, builders and super-users looking to improve the field through better information management and interdisciplinary collaboration.
“The platform is open to anything from clinicals to revenue cycle, from hardware integration to printers, from project management to optimization. Really, anything HIT,” the website states in its Q&A section.
Some questions already posted include, "What is the best ambulatory deficiency strategy?", "What are the best text tips and tricks you know?" and "How do I know which flowsheet groups or templates another flowsheet record lives in?"
“Finding answers is as easy as searching Google,” according to the video.
Full access to the website costs $170 per month after a 45-day trial.
