Two hospitals achieve HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7
St. Mary’s Hospital, in Madison, Wis. and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in Saint Louis, part of SSM Health Care, have been recognized by HIMSS Analytics as Stage 7 hospitals on its EMR Adoption Model. Additionally, Stoughton Critical Access Hospital, Stoughton, Wis., an affiliate of SSM Health Care, has been named as a Stage 7 hospital, and Dean Clinic, Madison, Wis., which is associated with Saint Mary’s Hospital, has been named a Stage 7 Ambulatory Clinic.
“The HIMSS Analytics Stage 7 award is validation of SSM’s long standing intent to assure our patients and healthcare providers that they will have all the information they need to make critical decisions whenever and wherever the patient is seen at SSM,” said Rick Vaughn, MD, CMIO at SSM Health Care. “I am extremely proud of the teams of clinicians and information technology specialists that have worked together for so long and so hard to achieve this goal. Their dedication is a shining example of our mission.”
