NextGen expands deal with Ohio State Medical Association

The Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) has expanded its agreement with NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems.

Under this agreement, Horsham, Pa.-based NextGen will offer preferred pricing for NextGen Practice Management and NextGen Practice Solutions to OSMA members, which include more than 20,000 Ohio physicians, residents, medical students and practice managers.

NextGen Practice Management allows healthcare organizations to manage appointment scheduling, billing, collections and other business processes, NextGen stated. NextGen Practice Solutions offers eligibility checking, charge capture and claims scrubbing services, according to the company.
