MedPlus, HP align for EHR adoption

Quest Diagnostics’ health IT subsidiary MedPlus is partnering with HP to assist EHR adoption for physician practices across the U.S.

The Madison, N.J.-based Quest said its web-based Care360 EHR software coupled with HP hardware will help physicians access patient information from an internet browser.

HP’s health IT tools will be integrated into the EHR for individual healthcare environments, Quest said. HP also will offer financing tools through HP Financial Services -- the company’s leasing and asset management division.

Manassas, Va.-based HealthDynamix, an HP PartnerONE Healthcare Elite Partner, will deliver the software, providing hardware implementation and support services, according to Quest.
