McKesson upgrades ambulatory EHRs

Bright Note Technology is now available across the range of McKesson’s ambulatory EHR products for physician practices.

The company said Bright Note Technology populates critical data on a patient chart enabling physicians and other providers to use their preferred charting style to capture data in a single screen note and, with one touch, synchronize searchable data across a complete chart.

According to McKesson, physicians can choose from input methods, including speech recognition, keyboard entry and transcription.

The technology will be available in McKesson’s physician practice EHR products such as Practice Partner, Lytec MD and Medisoft Clinical.
