FDA green-lights Riverain x-ray software

The FDA has cleared Riverain Technologies Temporal Comparison x-ray software.

According to Dayton, Ohio-based Riverain, the software electronically compares current and prior chest x-ray images and notes differences between images of the same patient. The software aligns and registers the two patient images to produce a difference image.
