Elektas EMR receives Surescripts certification for e-prescribing

Oncology and neurosurgery technology company Elekta has received Surescripts certification for its MOSAIQ oncology information system.

According to the Stockholm-based company, clinics and medical centers using MOSAIQ (version 2.2 and higher) now have the ability to electronically route prescriptions to independent and chain-based pharmacies in the Surescripts network. The system also offers real-time communications between doctors, pharmacies and patients.
