CMIO.net presents a weekly update of the EHR products certified by the Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT Authorized Testing and Certification Bodies (ONC-ATCBs). The following EHR certifications were announced this week:

Vendor and product: EDIMS; EDIMS 2.6 emergency department EHR

Certifying body: Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT)

Certification received: 2011 Pre-Market condition certification

Pre-market certification is issued until live site verification is complete. Applicants in the CCHIT Certified program are asked to submit at least two reference sites that have been using the certified product version for at least 45 days and which, between them, are using certain key functionalities. Once these sites have been verified by the Certification Program team, EDIMS 2.6 will move to Fully Certified status.
