Ariz. medical center attains Stage 7

Tucson Medical Center in Ariz., has received its Stage 7 Award, Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Analytics announced.

The award represents attainment of the highest level of the EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM), which is used to track EMR progress at hospitals and health systems, the Chicago-based HIMSS Analytics stated.

As of June 15, Tucson Medical Center is one of 57 hospitals, or 1 percent of the more than 5,000 hospitals in the HIMSS Analytics Database, recognized by HIMSS Analytics with its Stage 7 Award, the organization added.
