Agfa to provide CR products, services for Premier

Agfa HealthCare, a provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, has been awarded a new three-year contract by the group purchasing division of Premier, Premier Purchasing Partners, to provide CR products at terms and conditions to the alliance's nearly 2,200 member hospitals and 63,000 other alternate healthcare sites in the U.S.

The company said its entire line of CR hardware, software, accessories and service maintenance services are covered by the agreement. Agfa also noted its CR family includes the CR 85-X multi-plate system; its two single plate systems, CR 35-X and the CR 30-X, and its needle-based detector DX-S. Also included is Agfa's high-throughput multi-plate CR system, the DX-G.
