NJ-HITEC partners with health IT companies to promote EHR adoption

New Jersey Health Information Technology Extension Center (NJ-HITEC) has partnered with healthcare software developer Patient Access Solutions and iMedicor, a health IT consulting firm, to promote meaningful use of EHRs among New Jersey-based providers.

Patient Access Solutions and iMedicor, under the direction of NJ-HITEC, will work to assist the state's providers in their use of health IT through outreach, consultation and user support, according to iMedicor, based in Nanuet, N.Y.

According to iMedicor, Patient Access Solutions and iMedicor will provide:

  • Support to help practices understand how to deploy technology in a way that complies with meaningful use standards;
  • Assistance in clinical and administrative workflow examination; and
  • Guidance for physician practices to assess their network infrastructure and determine needs for the future.
