N.C. IDN goes live with Proficient Orders

Moses Cone Health System, a N.C.-based integrated delivery network (IDN), went live on access management services developer Proficient Health’s Proficient Orders cloud computing software to assist communication with local physicians and lay the groundwork to support health information exchange (HIE).

Proficient Orders automates orders and referrals, enabling hospitals and health systems to share patient data with ambulatory physician practices over the internet, the Greensboro, N.C.-based Proficient Health stated.

The tool will help Moses Cone build a foundation to participate in the North Carolina Healthcare Information Exchange (NCHEX), the company added.
