IHE-Europe moves Connectathon to Bern

IHE-Europe has announced that the 12th annual IHE Connectathon will be held in Bern, Switzerland, from May 21 to May 25, 2012 at the Bern Expo.

More than 300 IT engineers from 70 companies are expected to participate in the five-day connectivity event dedicated to testing the interoperability and connectivity of health information systems.

At the IHE Connectathon, all companies implementing IHE Technical Framework Profile specifications in their products have an exclusive opportunity to test their applications with systems and products from other vendors.

In parallel with these testing activities, Connectathon 2012 will offer workshops and meetings bringing together key stakeholders from European health IT projects, the organization added.
