HIMSS Video: NeHC survey reveals focus on patient engagement, HIE benefits

National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) conducts annual surveys to gauge stakeholder’s thoughts on issues related to health information exchange (HIE), consumer engagement and other NeHC programs. Kate Berry, CEO of NeHC, was at the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual conference in New Orleans to present the results of the 2013 NeHC Stakeholder Survey, and here shares some of the findings.

Berry is the CEO of NeHC, a public-private partnership that works with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT to engage stakeholders, including the government, payers and providers, in collaboration on improving health IT and health information exchange.
