eClinicalWorks expands customer base, headquarters

Health IT company eClinicalWorks said the nonprofit NYC Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health (NYC REACH) has selected its EMR and practice management system as an option for providers in New York City.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded a $21.7 million grant to NYC REACH, which selected eClinicalWorks EMR/PM as an EHR recommended for implementation by healthcare practitioners within New York City’s five boroughs.

eClinicalWorks also said it plans to expand its headquarters in Westborough, Mass. The expanded 100,000-square-foot facility will be completed during the first quarter of 2011, according to the company.
