CEO pay down slightly in 2020 | Hospitals work together to boost vaccination rates

Healthcare CEOs saw their median pay dip slightly in 2020, but many healthcare top executives are among the highest earners, according to a new report from Equilar ranking the 100 highest paid CEOs last year. 

Sixty top hospitals and healthcare institutions launched a nationwide campaign this week, targeting communities that have been slow to receive their first shot.

Health insurance giant Cigna has teamed up with technology-first health insurance provider Oscar Health to offer a new small business health plan in Connecticut.

Half of U.S. adults have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention disclosed. About one-third of adults are also fully vaccinated.

The analysis was based on data from nearly 18,000 physicians. 

GoodRx, an online source for healthcare savings and coupons, has closed its acquisition of HealthiNation, an online platform that offers thousands of videos with vital health information.

The recall comes after multiple reports of electrical failure, which can cause the pump to smoke, give off a strong burning odor or stop working altogether. 

The news comes days after an investment industry publication unearthed the reported $600M deal with American Securities, citing anonymous sources.
