Virtual health visits cost $110 less than conventional primary care appointments, while also reducing patient wait times and helping address the nursing shortage, according to CNBC.

To address the needs of an aging population of patients, clinicians have turned to telehealth to effectively treat patients remotely. In the article by CNBC, 98point6 CEO and co-founder Robbie Cape explains the benefits of telehealth in the coming years.

"We actually have board-certified physicians that are behind all of the artificial intelligence that we're doing. We're using artificial intelligence not to replace the doctors, but to actually augment the doctors," Cape said.
