Toshiba opens $3M MR center to support research + training

Toshiba America Medical Systems has opened the Toshiba MR Research Center in Irvine, Calif.

The $3 million project is designed to be a catalyst for advancing customer training and research, according to Toshiba.

Toshiba’s MR Research Center allows domestic and international customers to use the Toshiba MR systems, including the Vantage Titan 3T wide-bore MR and various Vantage Titan 1.5T MR system configurations. Toshiba will rotate and upgrade technology annually to offer the current MR systems and software.

The training experience is tailored to meet specific customer needs, allowing customers to test the protocols most often used and learn new imaging techniques. The MR Research Center also provides potential customers the opportunity to experience the Toshiba technology configurations that they are considering for purchase.
