HIMSS: Nuvon announces new data tools

Nuvon announced its new Nuvon Vitals and Nuvon Mobile Device Manager at the 2012 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference.

Nuvon Vitals is a clinical flowsheet that provides clinicians with access to a patient-centric view of aggregated patient care data on web-enabled platforms. Nuvon Vitals captures patient data from all medical devices and stores them, said John R. Zaleski, PhD, CTO and vice president, clinical applications. “Vitals provides a framework for retrospective patient analysis and prospective charts.”

The Nuvon Mobile Device Manager is a smartphone-sized data capture device with a built-in barcode reader that travels with medical devices for patient identification and care delivery.
