Is digital health lacking in its potential?

The abundance of mobile health technologies available collectively aimed to transform healthcare, yet it has struggled to reach its true potential. Without answering the question of how technology can solve a certain problem, mobile health could remain stuck in limbo.

Even though the number of wearables, sensors and applications grow into the thousands only about four percent are useful in providing education and training. With mobile technologies lacking in substance and falling behind in potential, it’s time for digital health to grow up.
