Wearable health gadgets equipped with AI present myriad opportunities and challenges to healthcare consumers and the healthcare professionals who diagnose, treat and track them. 

Safety incidents extend the halt at Richmond VA Medical Center into its 19th month, as the United Network for Organ Sharing launches its own investigation following an internal probe by Veterans Affairs.

The new rule was expected to go into effect on March 21 and would have expanded prescribing practices for buprenorphine, a non-opioid painkiller used to treat addiction.
