Mystery provider behind plans for $1B hospital complex in Indiana
A healthcare real estate company is planning a $1 billion project for a large hospital and medical offices on a site in Carmel, Indiana, with signs pointing to St. Vincent Health as the group behind the property’s development.
According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, Ambrose Property Group has filed plans to redevelop a 30-acre site into a five-building medical complex. The plans don’t specify what provider is involved and Ambrose refused to discuss the project, but in a joint venture with another company, Bremner Real Estate, Ambrose has contacted owners of 13 homes adjacent to the site about buying their property.
"We are engaged by a major health system to plan, develop, and construct a large inpatient hospital, supporting medical office buildings, and parking structures,” the letter read. “The new medical campus will enable our client to provide service excellence and innovative care for the surrounding communities.”
The rumored healthcare provider behind the plan, St. Vincent Health, has its main 800-bed hospital just three miles away. Read more at the link below:
