WellCare Names Timothy Trodden Chief Human Resources Officer
TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 9, 2017 WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) announced today it has named Timothy Trodden senior vice president, chief human resources officer, effective Jan. 9. Trodden is responsible to create and drive an overarching people strategy that supports enterprise-wide priorities. He reports to WellCare's CEO Ken Burdick and serves as a member of the executive leadership team.
"Tim is an experienced human resources leader with a successful track record in organizational strategy and talent development," said Burdick. "I expect him to significantly contribute to our company culture and growth agenda."

Trodden was most recently the head of human resources (HR), corporate enterprise functions for Johnson & Johnson where he led overall HR and talent strategy. He held other HR leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson over his 16 years with the company.
Trodden holds a bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University and a master's degree in human resources management from Rutgers University. He also completed Wharton's Executive Development Program.
