Alpha II supplies partners with updated code sets

Healthcare coding, compliance and reimbursement provider, Alpha II, will equip its partner’s end-users with its latest code sets, ICD-9 CM, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS).

According to Montgomery, Ala.-based company, the codes permit end-users to utilize one consistent source, rather than the previous system that archived data through multiple sources and led to inconsistencies within data.

In addition, the codes will be updated quarterly and allow  customers to maintain previous workflow processes without reformating their existing health IT platforms, Alpha II said.
