No company has emerged as frontrunner in the EMR market, but there is a lead pack, according to a report from Kalorama Information, which valued the EMR market at $15.7 billion in 2010.

United Medical Centers, an eight-practice community health center in Eagle Pass, Texas, will implement Sage Healthcares Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition EHR and practice management software.

The e-prescribing incentive payment program payment adjustment process must be modified to avoid unfairly penalizing eligible providers, according to the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
