Indiana, Ohio Medicaid EHR incentive programs go live

Indiana and Ohio Medicaid EHR incentive programs are now open, and Medicaid-eligible professionals (EPs) as well as eligible hospitals can register for incentives, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

EPs and eligible hospitals in these states will be able to receive Medicaid EHR incentive payments after successfully registering and attesting at the state level to having adopted, implemented or upgraded certified EHR technology.

Facilities and individuals that provide healthcare services to Medicaid beneficiaries in these states can visit Medicaid agency websites for Indiana and Ohio for more information.

As of May 2, 15 states had launched their Medicaid EHR incentive programs, and seven states had issued incentive payments to Medicaid EPs and eligible hospitals, according to CMS.
