St. Jude Medical forms cyber security board
St. Jude Medical, a medical device maker in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is taking action to prevent cyber threats from attacking the company.
St. Jude's Cyber Security Medical Advisory Board will bring medical and technology experts together to provide insight on how to prevent cyber-attack incidents from occurring.
“Cyber security is an ongoing challenge for many industries, and it is essential that medical device companies have a clinical perspective when assessing the security of their products,” said Leslie A. Saxon, MD, a professor of medicine at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine and executive director of the USC Center for Body Computing.
