Linda Kloss, CEO of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) for the past 15 years, has decided to retire from that role on March 31, 2010.

The AHIMA board of directors has initiated a national search for her successor.

AHIMA president Vera Rulon said its board of directors will focus on meeting AHIMA's goals while planning for a transition of executive leadership.
