Riordan Clinic – Leading Nutrition-based Health Facility Selects CyberLAB ASPYRA’s Laboratory Information System

Jacksonville, FL — February 29, 2016, ASPYRA, LLC (ASPYRA), a market leader in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), released news today of implementation of the company’s CyberLAB LIS at Riordan Clinic, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), nutrition-based health facility in Wichita, Kansas.  The Riordan Clinic has cared for individuals since 1975 with a focus on health, rather than sickness; looking at the root cause of illness, rather than just treating symptoms.

Riordan Clinic’s laboratory function is two-fold: provide in-house patients with accurate state of the art laboratory analysis and provide diagnostic services for physicians and hospitals nation-wide. Exhaustive research by the facility to determine which test methodologies and specimen types will yield the most clinically significant results has led to performing and innovating many of their specialty tests for more than 30 years. The facility’s histamine and pyrroles tests have been offered for 38 years and are still two of the most requested reference tests performed along with nutrient testing (i.e. minerals, vitamins, fatty acids, etc.) Riordan Clinic is the laboratory that many other labs choose to do their pyrroles testing.

“ASPYRA’s long history of quality systems and flexible solutions to meet customer needs matches perfectly with Riordan Clinic’s philosophy,” stated Gary Bennett, ASPYRA President. “Our LIS product provides the clinical software solution to support Riordan’s innovative testing and treatment methods.  We’re excited to deliver CyberLAB for Riordan and look forward to a long relationship with the facility.”

About Riordan Clinic

The Riordan Clinic along with an on-site laboratory was founded in 1975 from the shared vision of Dr. Hugh Riordan and Olive W. Garvey. The existing facility opened in July of 1984.  The lab is dedicated to providing accurate clinical analysis focusing on nutritional levels and is known as the ,”Vitamin C capitol of the World” because of the extensive research into the correlation between Vitamin C and different disease states.  Other specialties include testing for pyrroles, histamine, cytotoxic food sensitivities, parasitology, analysis of red blood cell fatty acids and minerals, along with many vitamins.  Riordan Clinic’s approach is to treat the whole person, beginning with a thorough review of medical history and a comprehensive patient evaluation. This yields a highly customized holistic treatment plan that puts patients on the path to better health.  Since its inception in 1975, the mission has been clear and unwavering to “…stimulate an epidemic of health.”  Find out more at: www.riordanclinic.org.
