Malecare introduces app for cancer tracking
Malecare, a nonprofit organizations aiding in the treatment of men’s cancer, has released its Cancergraph mobile application for the tracking of symptoms.
The newly unveiled app is available on iOS products to help provide the most personalized and efficient care to patients through documentation of their own experiences. The app gives patients the options to choose from over 200 symptoms and side effects, including cancer type and current medications. They can also take and upload pictures into a secure storage area that can then be shared with their physicians. A journal function also allows for more in-depth notes on cancer symptoms.
"For anyone who is going through cancer this is an invaluable tool," said Darryl Mitteldorf, founder of Malecare. "The ability to accurately keep track of symptoms and side effects changes cancer care for both the patient and doctor."
