Philips Healthcare's TraceMasterVue and IntelliSpace electrocardiograms are now compatible with the mVisum STEMI Alert smartphone application.

The Camden, N.J.-based health IT vendor’s STEMI Alert app gathers and analyzes patient data surrounding acute cardiac events and pushes it to providers’ smartphones if the information is determined by an algorithm to require clinical review.

North Andover, Mass.-based Philips suggests providers can use the app along with its own products to reduce review time in situations that require time-sensitive decisions. STEMI Alert is available on smartphone platforms, including Apple, Android, Blackberry and Windows.
