HIMSS: Fujifilm touts mobile app
Fujifilm Medical Systems (Booth 4750) is showcasing Synapse Mobility, a work-in-progress mobile application enabling remote access to Synapse products from handheld mobile devices that is not yet FDA approved, as well as Macintosh- or Windows-based PCs at the 2011 annual Healthcare Information amd Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting held in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 20 to 24.
Synapse Mobility displays medical images on various platforms to deliver mobile access to images and information stored in Synapse PACS, Synapse RIS and Synapse Cardiovascular. It is available on products including iPads, iPhones and Android Smartphones, said Stanford, Conn.-based Fujifilm. Synapse Mobility provides 3D viewing capabilities and allows physicians to be able to zoom, window and level, and use MIP/MPR.
In addition to Synapse Mobility, Fujifilm is also featuring its full range of medical informatics products .
