Carestream's digital x-ray selected by Boston facility

Carestream Health’s digital x-ray technology has been selected by Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for use in its ambulatory care and outpatient facilities.

The four Carestream DRX-Evolution suites will be utilized for general radiology and trauma x-ray exams, as the DRX-1 detector can be removed from the wall stand or table to accommodate cross-table imaging studies, as well as exams on wheelchair or stretcher patients, said the Rochester, N.Y.-based company.
