U.S. News and World Report ranked several industries for best overall jobs, as well as by industry. The outlet analyzed the jobs with the largest projected number and percentage of openings from 2018 to 2028 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The careers are ranked across seven component measures, including median salary, unemployment rate, 10-year growth volume, 10-year growth percentage, future job prospects, stress level and work-life balance.
