HIMSS 2017: Samsung, American Well partner to improve interoperability

American Well, a leading telehealth provider, announced a deal to offer services to Samsung consumers, including providers, delivery networks, payors and employers.

Serving more than 200 health systems and health plan partners nationwide including Anthem and Cleveland Clinic, American Well announced the deal Feb. 20 at HIMSS 2017 in Orlando.

The partnership will have th goal of improving consumer access to care, while decreasing costs and improving quality.

“Mobile technology offers the promise to empower consumers and simplify how healthcare is delivered,” said Harry Kim, Samsung Mobile Health Business Lead. “Our partnership with American Well is an exciting opportunity to innovate new experiences that improve health and business outcomes.”
