ONC, USDA boost rural telehealth funding by $8.6M

 

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have announced $8.6 million in rural telehealth grants, according to ONC’s blog, Health IT Buzz.

In total, the USDA Rural Development has awarded 65 grants across 34 states to improve healthcare and educational services in rural communities.
