With some of the biggest wearable advancements coming from the medical industry, some professionals have concerns about the leisure side of the market integrating itself where it shouldn’t be.

Doug Roe, chief editor at Med Device Online, spoke with Waqaas Al-Siddiq, co-founder and CEO of Biotricity, about how the line in wearable technology is being crossed by non-healthcare companies. Medical professionals have chastised companies like FitBit, claiming that these devices used for entertainment are inaccurate and give users misleading information which can jeopardize their health.
