Visage updates visualization software

RIS/PACS provider Visage Imaging has released Amira 5.3, a new software platform for visualizing, analyzing and presenting complex 3D and 4D biomedical data.

The upgraded technology features new neuro imaging tools, including MR diffusion tensor imaging as well as CT and MR brain perfusion imaging. The platform also offers the DemoMaker module, a redesigned set of tools for spreadsheets and statistics, enhancements to the FilamentEditor feature and integration of Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit, said the San Diego-based company.

The platform is available for Windows 32 and 64 bit, Mac OS X and Linux platforms, said Visage.
