Under CMS experiment, ACOs can recruit seniors into network

 

Under a new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid test, some pioneer accountable care organizations (ACOs) will be given the option of enrolling seniors in an ACO, according to Modern Healthcare.

The Pioneer ACO demonstration also will evaluate whether patients agreeing to enroll in an ACO are more likely to stay within its provider network and seek care from its hospitals and physicians.
