TriageLogic offers web-based triage tool for practice setting

TriageLogic has launched Office Triage Solution for provider practices and medical groups. The web-based application is designed for use by physicians and their office staff to help manage daytime patient calls.

The application integrates TriageLogic’s Daytime Office Solution protocols into a website portal, which uses a decision-tree support tool to decrease call processing time for nurses while providing information back to the caller, the Winston-Salem, N.C. triage software provider stated.

According to the company, the software allows users to:
  • Document calls;
  • Assist with nursing staff training and patient care;
  • Provide telephone assessment and care advice; and
  • Print notes or transfer information to an existing EMR system.

The new tool also serves as a helpful risk management tool by providing key documentation about initial calls, the company added.
