Toshiba lands West Coast install

Diagnostic imaging systems provider Toshiba America Medical Systems has installed its Vantage Titan open-bore MR system at Bellevue, Wash.-based Overlake Hospital.

The MRI offers Pianissimo technology, which seeks to reduce noise, and a 71-cm aperture and Atlas Technology, said the Tustin, Calif.-based company.

The installation is the first MRI for the hospital and prior to the implementation, the hospital outsourced its MR exams, said Toshiba.
