Texas med center purchases PatientKeeper software
Baylor Medical Center at Frisco (Baylor Frisco), an acute care hospital north of Dallas, has enlisted PatientKeeper’s clinical and documentation software products, including PatientKeeper CPOE and PatientKeeper NoteWriter, to assist physician workflow.
PatientKeeper’s software will integrate with the hospital’s existing Meditech system, according to PatientKeeper, of Waltham, Mass. Baylor Frisco plans to deploy PatientKeeper CPOE on both desktop and mobile devices to give physicians flexibility in their ordering workflow. The hospital also plans to implement PatientKeeper Physician Portal, to provide a comprehensive view of clinical data from the internet and PatientKeeper NoteWriter, which automates physician documentation.
