Robot surgeons are more fiction than fact

Humans have won, at least temporarily, the latest battle in man versus machine. Johnson & Johnson ceased selling its anesthesiology robot.

Robots will become more common in hospitals and doctors’ offices. There’s no doubt about that. But they might play more of supportive roles as opposed to completely replacing a doctor or nurse.
