RamSoft nets cardiac PACS order in Turkey

Kartal Kosuyolu Cardiac Research and Educational Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, has installed RamSoft’s PowerServer PACS to give more than 80 onsite physicians access to cases and image reviewing.

The PowerServer PACS, which was installed on Sept. 29, will also allow physicians to dictate reports online from any location, according to the Toronto-based company. Previously, the hospital relied on a single workstation or modality monitors to review their images.

The facility includes seven cath labs, one CT, one MRI, six ultrasound systems and two CR devices.

FDA Commissioner Robert Califf, MD, said the clinical community needs to combat health misinformation at a grassroots level. He warned that patients are immersed in a "sea of misinformation without a compass."

With generative AI coming into its own, AI regulators must avoid relying too much on principles of risk management—and not enough on those of uncertainty management.
