Quantia Introduces Virtual Marketplace to Better Connect Physicians with Products and Services for their Practices

Quantia, a leader in Physician Relationship Management, has introduced the industry’s first virtual Marketplace for its physician community—QuantiaMD—that will connect physicians to products and services that can benefit their practice.

Physicians today are seeing more patients and struggle to stay on top of new clinical research, let alone services for their practice. With the introduction of the Quantia Marketplace, physicians can learn about various offerings directly from vendors in short, interactive programs that value their time. Using social technologies, physicians can then help each other make informed decisions by sharing advice about products they find most valuable.

“Participating on QuantiaMD is like having a booth at the front of the largest healthcare conference in the world, every day,” said Joe Sawyer, VP of Marketing, CareCloud. “As a client, we can spend 5-10 minutes explaining the value of our cloud-based EHR, practice management, and revenue cycle management solutions, resulting in high quality leads for our organization. But unlike a conference, these interactions happen digitally – on the physician’s time – making them cost-effective and scalable.”

Physicians typically spend 20 minutes per session interacting with peers on QuantiaMD, the nation’s largest online physician community. Marketplace clients can reach these physicians as they participate and create an opt-in relationship with those who express interest in their product or service.

Today, 61% of physicians scan or explore social media daily or weekly and the majority of them believe that using social media improves patient care.* This is the driving force behind the growth and activity of QuantiaMD, which now reaches 70% of US physicians with 1 in 3 visiting last quarter alone.

“Companies like Amazon have proven the value of a central platform to help consumers find and evaluate products and services from multiple providers. We’re doing the same for physicians,” said Mike Coyne, CEO of Quantia. “Healthcare is unique and complex, so a platform like QuantiaMD, where physicians already spend a significant amount of their valuable time, is the perfect place to promote physician-centric products and services. Our members get the continued benefits of QuantiaMD – relevant information, tailored to their interests, delivered in a convenient way – and our Marketplace clients have access to an engaged and qualified audience.”

Quantia, Inc. clients already include 10 of the top 12 pharma companies in the world as well as major healthcare systems. Quantia’s Marketplace extends to businesses outside of these markets that need to engage physicians and drive qualified leads. Flagship Marketplace clients include CareCloud, The Center for Medical Weight Loss, and the US Air Force.
