Philips donates nearly $1M in medical aid to Haitian relief efforts

Philips Healthcare has donated nearly $1 million worth of medical equipment and supplies to be used by a team of 12 clinicians from Caritas Christi Health Care who have traveled to Haiti this week to aid in the earthquake relief efforts.

Philips donated products that included FM30 Fetal Monitors, PageWriter Trim III Cardiographs, IntelliVue MP70 OR monitors with G5 Gas Analyzers, IntelliVue MP30/50 ICU Monitors, SureSigns VS2 Low Acuity monitors, HeartStart XL Defibrillators and Respironics V60 ventilators, said the North Andover, Mass.-based company.

In addition to the medical equipment, Philips also donated a one-month supply of ECG cables and electrodes, sensors, blood pressure cuffs, paper, and etCO2 tubing as well as solar-powered lamps and Avent baby care products, said the company.
