PGM releases HL7 practice management interface

Physicians Group Management (PGM) Billing has released an HL7 interface add-on for its practice management and medical billing software. The interface will allow PGM's software to work with virtually any EMR system that has standard data export capabilities, the company stated.

The HL7 interface add-on will allow full data integration for physicians using third-party EMR software and PGM’s practice management system, streamlining the billing process by eliminating redundancies in the system and by reducing the possibility of human error, PGM said.
