NeHC follows up framework with online tools

As a follow up to the recently announced Patient Engagement Framework, the National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) has launched an affiliated online assessment tool. The NeHC Consumer eHealth Readiness Tool (CeRT) offers an organizational evaluation tool, real-time progress reports and a resource library designed to gauge the strength of organizations’ patient engagement activities and help them prioritize their improvement strategies.

The NeHC CeRT is a business intelligence tool for organizations seeking help to accelerate consumer engagement efforts. The NeHC CeRT provides a structure and support for organizations to measure their progress over time and its resource library is designed to stimulate the development of creative new initiatives, according to a release.

The NeHC CeRT is mapped to the phases of the NeHC Patient Engagement Framework and is aligned with Meaningful Use consumer engagement criteria and several accountable care incentive programs.

NeHC debuted its Consumer eHealth Readiness Tool at the Technology Crossroads Conference this week in Washington, D.C.  Learn more about the tool here.
